REQUEST FOR PICTURES

The ISCA Judges Education Update Committee* is updating the materials used to train prospective judges of our breed. The Committee would like to use pictures of Irish Setters from the past and present to illustrate elements of the Irish Setter Breed Standard. For example, the selected pictures will be used to illustrate, the desired silhouette, structure (neck, topline, body, etc), head, gait, etc.

We need help from the membership to find pictures of red heads that come as close as possible to Irish Setter Standard.

If you are interested in participating, please read the following requirements carefully before submitting any pictures.

Requirements

1. You must agree to release the picture to ISCA for use in Judges Education. If the picture is copyrighted, you must also obtain a written release from the photographer and send ISCA a copy of the release.

2. NOT all pictures submitted will be used by the Committee. Final selection of the pictures used will be made by the Committee and ISCA BOD.

3. All pictures that are used will be “Digitally Photo-cleaned” to remove all identification of the dog, show, and the handler.

4. Each ISCA member is limited to submitting pictures of two different dogs for each category defined in preparation of pictures.

5. All pictures must be submitted by July 15, 2009 either by using the ISCA web or by snail mail. Emailed Pictures will NOT be accepted and hard copy pictures will NOT be returned.
